What is Pain?

Pain is a treasure, a unique opportunity to discover our true selves, desires, and passions.

My first migraine was when I was 3 years old.  As a child, all I remember is wanting to get rid of the pain any way possible.  In the early years, I tried to smash it out, by slamming my head against the wall.  My poor mother had to hold me down in bed, with sheets tucked in very tightly, to try to stop me from smashing my head open.  Once I began to realize that smashing was only going to make it worse, I started to visualize the pain in my head and would make pathways around the pain, trying to avoid it.  I don’t think that worked very well either because I eventually discovered another way.

What would happen if I dove directly into the pain?  Looking at the pain straight on and trying to jump into the center of it, could it be possible?  Incredibly, getting into the core of the pain and looking around really helped me release the fear of the pain and allowed me to embrace it and listen to the messages it was sending to me.  The messages were enlightening.

Your pain does not have to do with only physical imbalances; it is also connected to your emotional and spiritual imbalances.  What does that mean?  I didn’t know then, so I have been on a quest since that time to figure it out.  And this is what I have learned…

  • The body knows how to heal itself; we just have to get out of the way long enough to let it do its job
  • Our pain is not a punishment, but something we need to listen to, embrace and learn from.
  • Craniosacral Therapy helps to release the physical, emotional and soul imbalances that are causing us severe chronic pain.

I know, just thinking about embracing the pain sounds like too much to handle and brings on anxiety.

Or you may be thinking that you have tried some of these things before and they didn’t work.

Have you tried working with all of these aspects together?  Have you taken the responsibility for your own healing or did you give the healer all the power?

YOU HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO EMBRACE YOUR PAIN, EMBRACE YOURSELF AND TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE AND FIND YOUR PASSION.

What would it be like to release your fear of the pain?

You can begin now on the Journey to Revealing the Message of your Pain.
